IL Tempo Gigante is powered by a Swiss-made La Joux-Perret L112. Self-winding chronograph movement with column wheel. 60 hours of power reserve, 26 jewels and a speed of 4 hertz (28,800 vph). Luxurious finish with Geneva stripes, blue screws and blue column wheel. Tested in 5 positions.

Flåklypa Grand Prix
The Von Doren Il Tempo Gigante Automatic Chronograph is inspired by the car in Norway's most successful movie, "Flåklypa Grand Prix" in English "The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix". The film has sold 5.5 million tickets since its release in 1975. The film is a cultural touchstone in Norway. It holds the record as the most widely seen Norwegian film of all time, shown in movie theaters somewhere in the world every day consecutively from 1975 until 2003, thus the most successful stop-motion feature film of all time until the release of "The Nightmare Before Christmas” in 1993.
