It all began with a Swiss wristwatch, an heirloom from a great-grandfather to his great-grandson.
The founder, Øyvind VonDoren Asbjørnsen, has a
very special connection to watches. The story began when he, just 12 years old
old, inherited his great-grandfather's valuable Swiss watch. This sparked a unique
passion for watches in the young VonDoren. Despite his young age
Ålesunderen began to delve into the literature about clocks.
After a long career as a director and film producer, he followed his dream and in 2016 founded the watch brand Von Doren. Today, Von Doren creates timeless, high-quality wristwatches inspired by Norwegian nature and history. All our watches are designed by Von Doren in Norway and we only use Swiss movements.
We have retailers in cities all over the country, in addition to our own Brand Store in Frogner in Oslo.
