TERMS OF SALE

1. General

The terms of sale, together with your order, confirmed through an order confirmation, constitute the entire contractual basis for the purchase. The terms of sale and other information on vondoren.no are only available in Norwegian.

To shop at vondoren.no you must be 18 years of age or older.

Where these terms of sale require written communication, this is fulfilled by using e-mail, SMS, letter, or similar.

“Seller” is hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us” or “Seller”. Buyer is: the person stated as the buyer in the order, and is hereinafter referred to as “you”, “your” or “yours”.

3. Shop in the online store

Here we have described the purchasing process so that you can always feel safe when shopping online.

4. Your order

When we receive your order, we will confirm the order and automatically send you an order confirmation to the email address you have provided. Please read the order confirmation carefully when you receive it and check whether the order confirmation is consistent with your order.

​Differences between your order and the order confirmation are considered a new offer from us, which you can accept or decline. If you have ordered more than one product, you may receive the products in separate shipments.

We reserve the right to cancel your order or part of it, if the product is sold out. In the event of a sold out situation, you will be notified of this, possibly together with information about what we can offer instead. You will be given the opportunity to accept our new offer with the changes we specify in relation to your order, or cancel the order. Furthermore, reservations are made regarding the cancellation of orders intended for resale.

If there have been significant typing or printing errors on the part of the Seller, in advertisements etc. and/or in the online store that are greater than 15% of the normal retail price, the Seller may unilaterally change, delete or reject the order. This applies even if the customer has received an order confirmation or similar.

We have the option to make changes until the item is shipped from our warehouse. If the item has been shipped from our warehouse, you must exercise your right of withdrawal.

​Fake orders and attempted fraud will always be reported to the police. It is not permitted to order in someone else's name, unless this has been cleared in advance with the recipient. In cases where the recipient is not aware of the order, this will be seen as attempted fraud, and will therefore be reported to the police.

5. Payment

All prices include VAT. The order summary will include all costs associated with the item such as postage, shipping, packaging, etc.

As a means of payment, you can choose from the payment methods we offer during the purchase process. To minimize the risk of unauthorized access, your payment card information is encrypted. Once we have received your order, we will place a reservation on your payment method to ensure that there are sufficient funds to cover the purchase price and complete the transaction. If a reservation cannot be made, we reserve the right to cancel the order. You will receive information about such a possible cancellation.

If you use a credit card, you will be charged when we confirm your order and delivery has been initiated by us. This also applies to pre-orders of products that will be available in the future or have an unconfirmed delivery date.

6. Delivery and delay

Delivery of the products is done by Posten/Bring. We have the risk for the products until they are taken over by you, that is, when you have received the products in your possession.

Estimated delivery time from the time your order is shipped to Von Doren is 1-5 business days. The package will be sent with tracking to your local post office, and you must collect the package within 14 days of arrival. If Von Doren Watch Company AS does not have the item in stock, or there are other reasons why the item will not be shipped quickly from the warehouse, you will be notified of this at the email address you provided when you ordered the item.

​If your package is delayed and you have not been notified of this, please contact Von Doren Watch Company AS. It may be the Post Office that is delayed. Von Doren Watch Company AS will then contact the Post Office and track the shipment for you.

​We have the risk of the products until they are received by you. If you do not collect the package, the package will be returned to us. If you wish the package to be resent, a new shipping fee will apply.

You are responsible for ensuring that the contact information you have provided on your order is correct. You can contact us at any time after ordering to obtain information about your order.

If you have ordered more than one product, you may receive the products in separate shipments.

7. Right of return

To cancel your purchase, return the product, receipt and original packaging to Von Doren Watch Company AS within 14 days, and you will receive a simple and straightforward refund of the purchase price. The product must be in the same condition as when you received the product.

If the return is approved, the order will be credited and you will be refunded any money you have paid.

8. Complaints

After you have received the products, we recommend that you check as soon as possible whether the delivery is in accordance with the order confirmation, whether the products have been damaged during transport, or whether the products have any defects or deficiencies.

If the products are faulty or defective, you may, depending on the circumstances, demand rectification of the fault, replacement, price reduction, compensation or cancellation of the purchase. The seller may demand repair of the goods if it is impossible to obtain a new one, for example if the goods are no longer being produced, or if this would entail an unreasonable cost. Notification of faults and defects in the products can be given to us verbally or in writing. This must be done within a reasonable time after you discovered the fault or defect. However, you always have at least two months to lodge a complaint. For reasons of evidence, we recommend that the complaint be sent to us in writing. The right to lodge a complaint applies for two years after you took over the product.

9. Right of withdrawal

The Right of Cancellation Act gives you the right to cancel your purchase. The right of cancellation applies to goods and certain services. The right of cancellation requires that you notify the seller of the purchase no later than

14 days after you receive the delivery, the seller will notify you that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal , primarily by using the withdrawal form received, or in writing by letter or email with reference to the order number.

If you have not received a cancellation form either in the order confirmation or upon delivery of the products, this period is extended to twelve months after the goods have been received.

​In order for the right of withdrawal to be exercised, the product must be delivered to us in the same condition as you received it. All products must be returned to the seller within a reasonable time. Any return shipping must be paid by you.

The seller is obliged to refund what you have paid, including postage for the shipment. Refund shall take place within fourteen days after the seller receives the product from you or the pick-up note or the product is made available to the seller.

The product is sent back to us (with tracking number), in the original packaging, together with the cancellation form (which is attached to the order confirmation you received by email). The form can be downloaded here.

The buyer cannot regret the purchase of goods that deteriorate quickly, goods that by their nature cannot be returned, or goods where the seal has been broken.

10. Force Majeure

If Von Doren Watch Company AS is prevented from delivering or making a mandatory redelivery as a result of extraordinary events or circumstances beyond our control, such as floods, war, riots and natural disasters, Von Doren Watch Company AS is exempt from all liability in connection with the delivery.

11. Export

If you have permanent residence outside the Nordic region (temporary residence/service for the Armed Forces in foreign service or similar does not apply), but have purchased goods from us online with delivery in Norway, you can get a refund of VAT (minus fees) upon subsequent export (within 50 days) to your home country. To be able to do this, ALL of the points below must be met.

1) Form RD-0032 must be completed in full with the permanent foreign residential address (outside the Nordic countries). The form can be downloaded here

2) Form with customs certification that the goods have been transported out of the country/to Svalbard/Jan Mayen within 50 days from the time of sale.

3) A Norwegian account number must be included so that we can transfer the amount. * The minimum order amount is 500,- NOK. A processing fee of 10% of the VAT amount per form will be charged, but at least 75,- NOK and maximum 250,- NOK.

12. Sale to Jan Mayen/Svalbard

When selling with direct delivery to Jan Mayen/Svalbard, follow these points:

* After ordering, you as a customer send an email to: support@vondoren.com and state that you want the value added tax (VAT) refunded.

* VAT will be refunded to your Visa/Mastercard used for purchase.

* Order number must be included. Customs form RD-0032 is not required.

13. Copyright

All content on these websites is under the rights of Von Doren Watch Company AS, and is protected by, among other things, copyright, marketing and trademark legislation. This means

that trademarks, company names, product names are protected by copyrights and intellectual property laws.

14. Disputes

The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is unsuccessful, you may bring the matter before the Consumer Council near where you live. The party in the matter is the Seller, i.e. Von Doren Watch Company AS. All disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Norwegian law. If the matter is brought before the courts, it shall be decided in your (the buyer's) place of jurisdiction, i.e. normally near where you live.

15. Change of Terms

Von Doren Watch Company AS reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice to our customers and partners.
