BJÖRN SVENSSON
Michelin chef with a passion for perfection
Bjørn Svensson moved to Oslo in 1999 and has since made his mark on the Norwegian food scene. With experience from prestigious places such as Bagatelle, El Bulli, and Gordon Ramsay in London, he has a unique combination of knowledge and creativity.
Svensson’s most notable achievement is his ability to create exceptional culinary experiences that have been rewarded with Michelin stars. All four restaurants he has opened – Oscarsgate, Fauna, Galt, and Schlägergården – have been awarded a star in the Michelin Guide, making him one of the most prominent chefs in Scandinavia. Now he brings his passion and talent to the recently opened Restaurant FAN, which has received rave reviews since its opening.
Throughout his career, Bjørn has always had a focus on quality and time. He sees time management as essential in the pursuit of perfection, and this dedication shines through in every dish he serves.
At FAN, he wants to create a fantastic atmosphere for both the team and guests, where exquisite ingredients and high standards result in unforgettable flavors.
